“Supermarket” is one of the experimentations I realised during the residency period at The Blank Contemporary in September – October 2018. Working on the chromatic nature of my artistic research I used liquid pigments to physically enter inside the multi cultural and controversial reality surrounding The Blank studios at Quarenghi street (Bergamo). Walking in the district I had been particularly struck by the packaging of some Chinese food products present in the supermarkets around so I took advantage of their commercial power and I used them as part of an artwork production. “Supermarket” is a photo made up of a sugar pack injected by liquid deka permanent colours and reproduced in form of advertisement.
